Ukrainian Association of Developers and Ukrfinzhytlo at an international conference on housing construction in the United States

The Ukrainian Association of Developers, led by Yevgeny Favorov, and Ukrfinzhytlo, led by Yevgeny Metzger, are attending The International Builders' Show (IBS) 2026, which is taking place in Orlando, Florida, USA, from February 17 to 19.

The International Builders' Show is a major international event that combines both an exhibition (expo) and a conference and is one of the largest in the residential construction industry. According to the organizers, this year's event will bring together nearly 110,000 industry professionals from around the world. Virtually the entire construction ecosystem will gather in one place, from building materials and design to real estate investments and financial programs for home purchases. The event is most useful for those entering the US market or those who want to keep up with the latest trends and innovations in real estate.

On the first day of the exhibition, a panel discussion entitled "Ukraine Housing Market: From War-Time Resilience to the Largest Reconstruction Opportunity in Europe" was held. It focused on how the Ukrainian housing market survived the war and why it could become the largest opportunity for reconstruction and investment in Europe in the coming years.

It is expected that through discussion and identification of next steps, specific entry points for US companies into the Ukrainian construction market will become clear, including public financing instruments, risk mitigation mechanisms, legal guarantees, and partnership models with Ukrainian developers and banks.

The speakers at the discussion panel were representatives of the US Department of Commerce, the US Embassy in Ukraine, Ukrfinzhytlo, Ukrgasbank, and the Ukrainian Association of Developers.

We would like to add that the event is organized by NAHB (The National Association of Home Builders of the United States). The Association's goal is to protect the "American dream" of affordable housing for everyone. This idea is close to Ukraine: providing people with affordable housing is a common goal of the Ukrainian Association of Developers and Ukrfinzhytlo. Therefore, participation in IBS 2026 is an opportunity for us to learn from our international colleagues and invite them to cooperate with the Ukrainian market in the context of future reconstruction.
