News Digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers May 6-12, 2024

We are pleased to present the news digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. In it, we briefly and without "water" tell about the most important events of the week that took place in the construction industry and the lives of UA Developers members, as well as share interesting materials from the association's members.

Politics and management:

Release of Oleksandr Kubrakov

The Verkhovna Rada has decided to dismiss Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure. The decision was supported by 272 MPs.

Economics and the real estate market:

Real estate market: prices and activity

According to a study by the DIM.RIA analytical center, 76% of sales departments of new buildings in Ukraine continue to operate. In April 2024, the average price per square meter in the primary market increased, with the highest prices in Kyiv at UAH 54,084 per square meter.

Investment and development

The Ukraine Facility's strategic document envisages the EU allocating €50 billion to support Ukrainian reforms. In an op-ed for Ekonomichna Pravda, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee Olena Shulyak emphasized the continuation of compensation programs for destroyed housing and the improvement of housing policy legislation.

Completion of the Dnipro Bank project by Riel Corporation

Real Estate Corporation RIEL, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, has announced the completion of construction and installation works at the Bereh Dnipra residential complex and the submission of documents for commissioning the building.

Planned communities for post-war reconstruction by Perfect Group

Oleksiy Koval, project manager at Perfect Group, also a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, discusses the concept of planned communities as a tool for post-war reconstruction in Ukraine. In his column for Ekonomichna Pravda, he analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of large-scale development projects with pre-planned integrated infrastructure.

New issue of the "Academy of REALTORS"

Riel Real Estate Corporation, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Real Estate Developers, has published a new issue of its digest, where the developer's team talks about new approaches to registration of the future real estate object and the peculiarities of technical supervision at construction sites.
