How to make housing more affordable?

Yevhen Favorov, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, spoke about ways to increase the affordability of new housing for Ukrainians. Among them, in particular, are the development of the social housing institute and the creation of industrial parks aimed at the production of domestic building components.

Full launch of the Ukraine Facility

First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko has signed a financial agreement for Ukraine to receive €5.27 billion in grant aid from the EU under the Ukraine Facility. This is the last agreement needed to fully launch the program. In total, the support under the first pillar of the Ukraine Facility program amounts to €38.27 billion.

eRecovery for all

Homeowners in the frontline areas and areas of active hostilities have been allowed to apply for compensation under the eRestoration program. From now on, commissions will be able to inspect destroyed and damaged properties, taking into account the security situation on the ground.

4 years EDESSB

The Ministry of Reconstruction has shared the results of 4 years of operation of the Unified State Electronic System in the field of construction. During this time, more than 556,000 permits have been registered in the system and 65,500 urban planning conditions and restrictions have been issued.

Recovery strategies from Olena Shulyak

Olena Shulyak, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning, named the key areas of Ukraine's recovery strategy. These include a new housing policy, the creation of a state housing fund, and a focus on a barrier-free environment.
