News digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers

We are pleased to present the news digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. In it, we briefly and without "water" tell about the most important events in the lives of UA Developers members, as well as share interesting materials from the association's members.

News of the association members:

Commissioning of new buildings by KAN and Futura Hata

The buildings of two members of the Ukrainian Association of Developers received certificates of readiness for operation. In particular, KAN Development commissioned the 304th house of the Respublika residential complex, and Futura Hata handed over the 5th house of the Svitlo Park residential complex.

Restoration of destroyed houses

The Association of Western Ukrainian Developers, a member of UA Developers, has fully restored a house at 14 Mikhnovskikh Brothers Street in Lviv that was damaged by massive shelling on September 4, 2024. As part of the city's Take Care of a House initiative, the roof and facade were restored, the destroyed wall was rebuilt, and windows and doors damaged by the explosion were replaced.

Another fee for the Armed Forces is closed

Almost UAH 16 million was raised as part of the Square for Donation 3.0 charity initiative organized by LUN service and RIEL Real Estate Corporation, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Real Estate Developers. The winner of the fundraiser received a brand new apartment in the capital's Bereh Dnipra residential complex, and the funds raised will be used to purchase M113 armored personnel carriers for the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Economics and the real estate market:

150 million euros for housing

The Council of Europe Development Bank has continued to finance the project "HOME: Compensation for Destroyed Housing" and will also finance a new project to provide housing for IDPs. In particular, an additional €100 million has been allocated for NOME, which will provide new homes for more than 3,000 families under the eRecovery program. Another €50 million will be allocated for concessional lending to IDPs: almost 1,500 families will be able to purchase housing on the most affordable terms.

Social housing as a basis for a new housing policy

Olena Shulyak, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning, spoke about the formation of the social housing fund envisaged by the government's draft law "On the Basic Principles of Housing Policy." She explained who social housing will be created for in the first place, how the unified digital analytical system will help with this, and what other mechanisms are envisaged by the new housing policy on Ukrainian Radio.
