Three companies are ready to invest $500 million in the production of building materials in Ukraine, according to the Kyiv School of Economics. Ireland's Kingspan and CRH Group intend to invest $300 million and $100 million, respectively, and Ukraine's City One Development is going to invest another €100 million.
Ukrainians will be able to choose which reconstruction projects in their communities will be funded by the State Fund for Regional Development in the Diia app. The law on the allocation of the fund's funds was amended accordingly, said Olena Shulyak, chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning.
