We are pleased to present the news digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. In it, we briefly and without "water" tell about the most important events of the week that took place in the construction industry and the lives of UA Developers members, as well as share interesting materials from the association's members.
The projects of the members of the Ukrainian Association of Developers were awarded the independent construction award "Creator of the Year - 2024" . KAN Development received the most awards: Faina Town won in the Landscape Architecture (completed) nomination, while UNIT.City, Office B14-B15 and the public center of Respublika took 2nd and 3rd places in the Architecture of Commercial Objects (completed) nomination. The Heroes' Cross memorial, created with the participation of SAGA Development, also a member of UA Developers, was recognized in the category "Project for Future Generations".
DIM Group, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, and Yevhen Karas' Protecting the Future charity foundation raised UAH 20 million in 60 days to purchase drones and cars. The equipment will be provided to volunteer units of the army, the National Guard and the Svoboda battalion. The developer raffled off an apartment in its Lucky Land residential complex for a donation of UAH 500 or more.
In addition, DIM Group celebrated its first major anniversary - ten years of operation. During this time, it has commissioned 15 buildings in Kyiv and the region with 3,215 apartments. Currently, the developer's portfolio includes more than 900 thousandm2 of housing at various stages of construction.
Intergal-Bud, a member of UA Developers, has announced that the first and second sections of the Parkovi Ozera residential complex have received their postal addresses. Soon, the future residents of the capital's new building will be able to start the process of registering their property rights.
Emil Solovyov, CEO of NEST, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, spoke to Forbes about the principles of harmoniously combining history and modernity in urban development, as well as the responsibility of business in the construction industry.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated another UAH 428 million to continue the eVodnovnennya program. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, 57,000 Ukrainians have already benefited from the program over the past year, receiving over UAH 11 billion. Among them, 2,800 families purchased real estate through housing certificates for UAH 5.6 billion.
Residential real estate prices in Ukraine increased by 16% over the year. These data are provided by the State Statistics Service based on the results of the 1st quarter of 2024. The increase in the cost of housing in the primary market amounted to 17.6% compared to the same period last year.
