Yevhen Favorov, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, spoke in an interview with Apostrophe about why the primary real estate market is on the verge of a major collapse. He explained how illegal blocking of construction sites and pressure on business affect the future prospects for rebuilding the country and providing citizens with affordable housing.
RIEL Real Estate Corporation, a member of UA Developers, has announced the commissioning of the Bereh Dnipra residential complex in Kyiv. Another capital project of RIEL, the Forward residential complex, also received a certificate of readiness for operation.
The residential complex by Taryan Group, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, which celebrated its 13th anniversary, was recognized as the best in Ukraine at the International Property Awards. NVER received awards in two categories - Best Mixed Use Development and Best Residential High Rise Development. In the latter category, the project of another member of the association, DIADANS by ENSO, was also recognized.
Oleksiy Koval, project manager at Perfect Group, a member of UA Developers, analyzed the possibilities for the construction industry to overcome the crisis. In his column for Ekonomichna Pravda, he analyzed how to overcome such challenges as rising costs, staff outflows, and unstable financing, based on the post-war experience of other countries.
In October, the average cost per square meter in the primary market increased slightly in most regions of Ukraine. The largest growth occurred in Chernihiv (+7%), Kharkiv (+5%) and Zaporizhzhia (+4%) regions, according to analysts of the real estate marketplace DIM.RIA. And the price fell most noticeably during the month in Mykolaiv region - by 20% at once.
The number of Ukrainian families who have received new housing under the eHouse program already exceeds 14 thousand. More than a quarter of all apartments were purchased directly from developers, and the program's partner banks have accredited 188 houses under construction from 87 construction companies.
