Yevhen Favorov on the keys to overcoming the housing crisis
Why Ukraine needs transparent and stable rules for the work of builders, said Yevhen Favorov, chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. He spoke to LIGA.net about the impact of unjustified blocking of construction projects on the housing market, the lack of accountability of officials for illegal decisions, and the importance of updating urban planning documentation.

New houses from Riel and Futura Hata
The buildings of two members of the Ukrainian Association of Developers received certificates of readiness for operation. In particular, RIEL Real Estate Corporation has commissioned the first two phases of the Lviv residential complex Novyi Fort. Mistechko Pidzamche", and Futura Hata handed over the 6th building of the capital's Svitlo Park residential complex.
Apartment from RIEL for helping the military
RIEL and LUN service also announced a new fee as part of the Square for a Donation initiative. Anyone who makes a donation of UAH 300 or more will get a chance to win a one-bedroom apartment of 74m2 in the capital's Bereh Dnipra residential complex. The funds raised will be used to purchase armored personnel carriers for the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Additional 15 billion for eRestoration
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law on the priority right of IDPs to receive housing certificates under the eRestoration program. The document also provides for the possibility of allocating about UAH 15 billion of the remaining budget funds for 2024 to finance the program.
Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction on social housing
Serhiy Sukhomlyn, the new head of the State Agency for Reconstruction, told Kyiv Post how they plan to implement a pilot project for the construction of social housing in Ukraine. He spoke to KyivPost about the project model, interaction with local communities, and the logic of social housing location.

Personnel changes in the Ministry of Infrastructure
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed two deputy ministers of community and territorial development, Oleksiy Kuleba. Alyona Shkrum has been appointed First Deputy Minister, responsible for international cooperation and European integration processes. Konstantin Kovalchuk was appointed Deputy Minister for Housing and Communal Services and the Heating Season.
