We are pleased to present the news digest of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. In it, we briefly and without "water" talk about the most important events in the life of the Association's members, as well as share the most interesting materials from them.
At the First Forum of Affordable Mortgages, the Ukrainian Association of Developers and Ukrfinzhytlo, the operator of the state program eOselya, signed a memorandum on the launch of a unified digital platform for convenient accreditation of new buildings in mortgage programs. The new tool will accelerate the expansion of the list of houses available to borrowers, thus providing a much wider choice of primary housing.
The EBA members discussed how to make housing more affordable for Ukrainians and increase the volume of its construction at the Forbes Development Construction Forum. During the discussion, they analyzed the prospects for lease with the right to purchase, public-private partnerships, bank project financing, attracting institutional foreign capital, etc. In addition, the speakers identified the reasons that hinder the development of the housing market today.
"Intergal-Bud, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers, has announced the full commissioning of the Kyiv residential complex Nyvky Park. The final building in the project, house No. 9, received the certificate of readiness. The company also put into operation both parking lots of the Kyiv residential complex Holosiivskyi.
A number of residential buildings built by the Association's members have received postal addresses confirming their readiness for occupancy. In particular, in Kyiv, the addresses were assigned to Bereh Dnipra residential complex by Riel Real Estate Corporation, sections 3 and 4 of Parkovi Ozera residential complex by Intergal-Bud, line 9 of Parkove Misto residential complex by UDP and commercial extension of the 1st building of Creator City residential complex by Creator-Bud. In Lviv, the postal address was also assigned to Villa Pohulyanka by RIEL.
Eight members of the Ukrainian Association of Developers have been included in the rating of Kyiv developers for 2024 by the Ministry of Finance portal. The first place was taken by Intergal-Bud, which last year commissioned more than 147 thousandm2 of housing in the capital. Stolitsa Group took the second place with 96.5 thousandm2, DIM with 71.5 thousandm2, and IB Alliance with 53.5 thousandm2. The top 10 also includes KAN Development, Futura Hata, UDP and Riel Real Estate Corporation.
In an interview with Goncharova, Igor Nikonov, founder of KAN Development, explained why there is no other alternative for investing in Ukraine but real estate. He also spoke about the challenges facing domestic investors and how to turn Kyiv into a modern city for living and business in a Business Breakfast with Forbes Ukraine's Volodymyr Fedorin.
Whether the abolition of the Housing Code will mean the end of social housing in Ukraine was analyzed by Oleksiy Koval, project manager at Perfect Group, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Developers. In a column for NV, he assessed the need for social housing and the quality of the existing stock, analyzed European experience, and suggested tools to solve the problem.
